Tell Bob Dole his shrapnel sliver wound is nothing. And tell the guy's family who died on the operating table in BAGHDAD ER from a sliver wound. Kerry still has a shard of shrapnel in his thigh. He suffered three battlewounds in all. Two of them were minor. Big deal. WHo cares? Kerry never made any false claims about them. More important, he won the Silver Star and Bronze Star for courage beyond the call of duty in battle. No one can dispute he deserved those medals, and the military can give Purple Hearts to whomever they want to, it is not the choice of the soldier to claim a PH. One of Bob Dole's wounds he got a PH for was also a minor sliver wound like one of Kerry's. You a**wipes need to grow some respect and honesty. This dishonest and evil smearing has gone way too far. And we know why you do it, because neither Bush nor any other major rightwing leader has ever even dared to step foot on a battlefield. Bush and Cheney were too busy getting drunk at their respective country clubs. So next time, pick a nominee with the battle experience if you're so concerned about it.
