Some pro-life Amnesty International members in Canada have expressed regret at the decision and have said they are no longer supporting the organization. The news of Amnesty's consideration of abortion advocacy garnered warnings from religious groups that such a move would tarnish the respected organizations reputation and force people of faith to stop supporting it. Noted human rights defender and Calgary Bishop Fred Henry, in an interview with LifeSiteNews.com earlier this month called the move "an ill-conceived and gross betrayal of their mission to campaign for human rights." Re: Gitmo and secret prisons are crimes and are supposed to be far below our moral values..... Have you asked yourself "who are these people" and what do they want? I stopped asking "why" after they flew a plane full of innocent people into the twin towers. And I stopped asking "why" after a group of muslims took over a school in Russia (BESLAN) and murdered many children. I have stopped asking "why" long ago.....they simply need to be exterminated. A cancerous growth is excised; the same objectivity and determination must be applied here. Sounds harsh, but when you look at the atrocities they have committed and the ones they want to commit, how can you reasonably expect to have any other course of action?
