2BC. HOFFMANN'S CLAIM OF KERRY HAVING SERVED 4 MONTHS AND 12 DAYS In an abbreviated tour of four months and 12 days, and with his specious medals secure, Lt. j.g. (junior grade) Kerry bugged out of Vietnam. FACT False. Kerry enlisted with the U.S. Navy in Feb 1966 and was discharged honorably from the Navy in Jan 1970. In between, he requested to be sent to Vietnam and he served two tours, only one of which lasted over 4 months.

All Smearvet Lies are Dissected and Proven Wrong here, but since then there's been even more evidence damning the smearvets garbage, including the two photos Kerry's people released the other day. Also the ABC Nightline report proves his Silver Star was 100% deserved and clean, incredible feat of bravery saving his boat that time. swiftvets.eriposte.com In short, not a single thing the smearvets said turned out to be true. And even the facts they use, they dishonestly turn upsidedown to try and distort the reality of the situation, like claiming Kerry "betrayed" vets by talking about atrocities. As we see in Iraq now, the atrocities are real and hurt the USA deeply. The current one in Iraq could end up creating hundreds or thousands of new anti-American recruits, and the only ones killed were innocent civilians, including women and children. Murtha is now the new Kerry, using his 35 years of Marine service as his credentials for 100% credibility.
