Your comment re Democrat members of congress whose aids send them to the taxidermist for preservation reminded me of Sen Byrd(W-VA). His vote last wk against the almost amnesty senate bill was a pleasant surprise. He was among only about 3 Dems who voted against the bill. Never imagined I'd ever be grateful for one of his votes. >>Current history is sprinkled liberally with Democrats whose aids will not let them fade away, so they pump them full of ridiculous speeches and use their reputations for years.<<
