Peter. so you would now agree that it is the responsibility of the country being entered to protect their border and entry points and not the responsibility of the country where the immigrants and visitors are coming from...in this case Canada.?

I don't follow your logic here >>>

I stated this...""And who do you feel is responsible for the 12 to 15 million illegals in the USA?.... The country they came from or the country that permitted them to enter. IMO it is the country that permitted entry who are responsible.".....

And your response to this >>>>

....."Try that argument in a court of law. Sure I showed him how to crack a safe, and gave him a ride to the bank, sure I drew out the map and delivered the guard schedule to him, but I am not an accessory to the crime.".....

Are you saying that the USA is the accessory here? Or Mexico?

Peter. I read the article you recommended and agree with it's contents but no where in that article did it mention border security or illegal visitors entering the USA through Canadian border points and we were discussing border security and whose responsibility it is to secure these borders.

Here are some of your comments that led to this discussion.

...."It has been said in such a way as to sound true that the border with Canada is even more porous than the border with Mexico."....

...."I also believe that the border with Canada has very little fencing. Apparently there are many back roads that are wide open.".....

....."Canada does not restrict their incoming visitor on tourist visas much. Islamofaschists would exploit that border, and already have tried they may have been successful."......

....."It is not like our "friends" to the North have been cooperative in preventing "tourists" to pass through their country in route to the US.".....

Here is a paragraph form the article you supplied>>>>

....."Canada's clandestine Communications Security Establishment, which listens in on conversations and translates messages from foreigners under suspicion, has increased its annual budget by 57 percent since Sept. 11, and Canada has spent some $6.5 billion to beef up security along its border.".....

If you think there are to many islamic terrorists nut jobs in Canada...I agree. One is too many!

If you think these islamic terrorists nuts could make their way to the USA...I agree.

If you think Canada is responsible for the islamic terrorist nut jobs that may be in Canada....I agree.

If you think Canada is responsible for the security of USA border entry points....I disagree.
