The country has also changed. It is becoming slightly less stupid in the face of the utter stupidity of the Dubyettes.

Flash isn't as important as is the ability to make sense and do the right thing for the country, instead of for friends and cronies.

Dubyette is leaving a mess, on purpose, because that's just the kind of kid he still is.

In person, Al Gore is entirely calm, reasonable, and persuasive. And funny — he loves The Sopranos...


...but then, he has to go out in public and campaign...all semblance of a person disappears...
