I think it does. I see many borrowers without a down payment. Zero savings to speak of maybe $2,000.00. Live from pay check to pay check using credit cards to boot. So not a lot of room for gold purchases. Of course there ae others with good savings and good home equity but a lot of them still think gold bugs are well kinda buggy. We are along ways from the bull when people will be asking Grandma and Grandpa for gold artifacts.
