A friend of mine told me he had an ant problem while he was in college. One day he lined his trash can with honey and, when he returned from class, the can was filled with ants. He took the can out and set it on fire, then washed the can. He repeated this process four days in a row. On the fifth day, there were no more ants and he never saw another bug. They had learned.

Seems to me there is a lesson here.

I don't understand it either. MAD worked with the USSR because they were no more in a hurry to die then we were. MAD won't work with someone in a hurry to meet Allah and get their hands on their 70 virgins. Killing them wherever they are to keep them away from our shores is the only logical conclusion that we can come to here. It's so simple and obvious that it's mind boggling it is not universally understood.

I have a theory though that it is understood by the rabid left but they are so afflicted with BDS that they are willing to commit suicide to make Bush look bad.

<<Fighting them, and fighting them hard, is the only way. I simply cannot believe more people do not see this most obvious of truths>>

A majority of people want to fight that fight. A lot of people feel that fight has been side tracked by waging a war on a mostly civilian population in Iraq, and a war that has little to do with terrorism...

My meat consumption has decreased as I've gotten older fairly naturally. I think a person's body knows the nutrients that it needs and cravings reflect this, but the food chain is part of life.
