It would also nice to have greater participation from many of the europeans, but who knows if they will ever wake up the the threat?

I agree. We should be blowing up their schools where they are indoctrinating the next generation of infidel haters also. We could bypass all of that and give everyone in Israel 30 days to leave because we are going to turn the entire area into a sheet of glass. Now that would be effective. Until I see some of them coming forward to denounce the lunatics amongst them I really have little problem with just exterminating the religion from the planet.

Words can certainly hurt us [Nagin refers to Landrieu supporters as 'whoremongers']

Mayor Ray Nagin speaks in small sentences composed of simple words. Still, I'll be damned if I know what he's really saying most of the time.

His acceptance speech on the night of his re-election is a textbook case.

"To some of the folks who went on the other side, you went to the red-light district. I forgive you," he said.

Though he later said the red-light district was "a figure of speech," those of us who heard the remarks on election night were left to conclude either that Mitch Landrieu is a whore, or that his partisans were whoremongers.

Why in this speech, one of the most important of his career, is it so difficult to discern the mayor's meaning?
