I developed Excedrin Headache #64 yesterday

I had one of those, too. I have a '97 car with 33K miles on it. I've never had a bit of problem with it and I treat it well. I took it to the dealer Monday for one of its regular checkups and for a state inspection, which the dealership does for free, thinking I had a fine, healthy car, albeit starting to get a bit long in the tooth. Guy calls me, said it wouldn't pass inspection and that he wanted $4400. Of course I was two days from the inspection running out and having to figure out whether I wanted to sink that kind of money into a nine year old car, no matter how low the mileage, or buy a new one in two days.

In the clear light of the next day I was able to get past that immediate dichotomy, the car is inspected, I'm only out $600, so far, and I have time to decide what I want to do. But my head sure hurt for a while. My frame of reference about my car going from "healthy" to "old" in a matter of minutes, however, is still trying to shift gears.

Re the handwriting, I can't begin to explain it. I can't wait until the medical profession gets with the information age and everything is digital.

for headaches:

If you have any rosemary around crumple it and breathe the smell, or if you have rosemary oil, put some on a cloth, and inhale it. Rosemary is supposed to be good for headaches- and I give it to my children to breathe (as well as giving them aspirin), as well as putting rosemary flowers in their tea (they are also nice on salads, or as a garnish for any veggies). At the very least it is a pleasant smell.
