He has a buy rating on ATYT, so his opinions should be taken with a salt lick. He was also of the opinion that AMD's 1st Q results would suffer along with Intel's (after Intel warned). Now he is suggesting AMD is losing share, but I didn't see him backing that up with any sources or numbers.

Why not both? In for a dime, in for a dollar!

Intel has been the market leader in the chipset excuse for disappointing processor sales. AMD could follow and try to challenge them, but they'd eventually have to commit to a "business review" and they don't have the anthropologist staff.
