Having an all volunteer military is not an excuse to continue sending the same troops back to the front lines while a rather large group of people (some right here on SI) who will never serve, question the patriotism of anyone else. Usually when people feel that strongly about a cause for war, they enlist and fight in that all volunteer military. That has not been the case coming from the right wing and over the last 3 plus years, this inaction where it really counts has spelled out very clearly what type of people are attracted to that party....
