Bush has always supported illegal immigration through inaction. for the righwing to try to make it an anti-"liberal" issue is ridiculous. did Bush ever call for a state of emergency like Bill Richardson did when he was Gov of Texas, with the largest Mexican border of any state? No. Bush did nothing for 13 years until finally the rightwing rebel and want to "blame it on the Mexicans". Democrats support much tougher border security, and have always been tougher on Homeland Security than the Bushies. Bushies care mkore about Walmart getting its goods in quicker from China without them being searched than anything. Bush also wants to hand over our ports to Arabs, and was probably look to make millions personally with the Dubai Ports scam.
