re: War is War.

Yeah but it's not war, it's old style occupation and "nation building" (or if you are cynical or neo the new colonial empire building). Or do you still buy that Iraq is part of the "war on terrorism"?

re: The press will take every miscue and use it against the forces.

Blowing away 24 civilians including women and children, at close range, is not a "miscue".

In this particular case, the press was reporting the truth... US soldiers blew away a woman on her way to deliver her baby. Is that "slanted", or just the damn ugly truth you don't want to hear?

re: We need to get out. We can't win with the Press.

What the f-ck is "win"? Some Bush propaganda fantasy of Pleasant Valley, Iraq-USA, with Wal-Marts on every corner? You can't still be buying that shit? These guys like Iran 100 times better than us, they are more our enemy than Saddam ever was. And that's the good guys; face it.

The press is the messenger; don't shoot the messenger. It's the only f-cking truth you get.

War is War.
The press will take every miscue and use it against the forces.
We need to get out. We can't win with the Press.

LOL. No matter how you try you think just like a bushie. The war is with the insurgents, not the press. The war against the insurgents is going poorly. Trust me, the press isn't going around beheading people and then putting their heads wrapped in plastic in boxes around Baghdad.

There are times when a superpower can't win against an insurgency. This is one of those times.........Vietnam was another.
