So seemingly against all logic and science, do you think that fluctuations of the market can ever be timed amongst small groups by mathematics? I think it may be done as some I have seen can predict economic cycles quite accurately.

Ed Thorp proved that black jack could be beat by an edge of watching outcomes. He runs a hedge fund that beats odds and is worth a shekel or two. Perhaps the odds can be beat, as Shannon was a hint of and Thorp too.
