You know, because GOLD doesn't pay dirty, GOLD lets the other guy (DOLLAR) win sometimes. Of course, both know the final outcome, but we still have to go through the motions, because just serving up the victory we know is certain would be so boring.

Since GOLD displays such gentlemanly gamesmanship, we investors must follow through and go through the same motions...shorting GOLD, Puts on miners and selling futures.

Its all part of a good game ad isn't a test of loyalty at all.

Boxing would be a boring and unprofitable sport if the champ always delivered his victory in one foul swoop in the first 20 seconds of each match.

I see this as part of the 'entertainment'. Spectators pay to see the challenger look like he might even defeat the champ for awhile.

All in the name of good sport, my friend.
