I don't loathe the military. I loathe the people that waste the lives of our fighting men for nothing more than the pride of the chimp Caesar. There was no reason for us to invade Iraq, and there is no reason for us to occupy it now. It's his Vietnam, and now the predicatable Vietnam-style atrocities are coming to light. Such things are inevitable in insurgencies, yet another reason we shouldn't have invaded in the first place. It's a tar baby. I wonder if the officers that deliver the news say: "Mam, your son died so the President won't have to say he "cut and ran" from an uneccesary war he shouldn't have started." At least LBJ did a few good things to balance his history..
