Sure we did Jim. But then gas was $1.11 a gallon (3/8/1999 price). The instability caused by our invading Iraq and threatening to invade Iran has caused and continues to cause oil to be expensive, along with increased global demand.

We didn't have to invade Iraq. We don't have to be so bellicose with Iran and Venezuala. These are foreign policy choices of the Bush admin. Who profits? Not us.
