No need for AMD to "extol 65nm virtues". AMD's current product offerings have the performance edge and consequently AMD's revenues haven't dropped off a cliff owing to useless inventory build up as is likely the case with INTC with their P4 deadweight.

I really like the idea of the additional slot for accelerators as opposed to HUGE cache.

I suspect that INTC is going to hit the wall, once AMD rolls out its coprocessors.

Very impressive presentation today. AMD sounded like it has now come of age.

Petz, you didn't read closely.

No extolling of the virtues of 65nm K8 vs. 90nm K8

You are talking about that mismash of process change, core change, possible # of cores change, and lack of system specs.

What I meant was something to the effect of:

We expect our 65nm K8 parts to clock X% higher, while burning Y% less power than our current 90nm parts.

That's why I specified K8 for both 90nm and 65nm.
