Country music is the workingman's blues, not the property of the elite military-industrial rightwing. Nor for phony preppy cowboys who buy big ranches but can't even ride a horse. Time for country music fans to come home and care once again about actual people, the New South (not the old Jim Crow Bushie south), and not myths, fears, political spin or manipulative wedge issues. John Edwards is right. When rural Americans vote for the industrial rightwing, they are voting against their own personal interests, for many un-christian policies and for political propaganda and corruption.
