The Burkett memo thing got it's full due. It was a fraud and was uncovered. What else is there to talk about? You want a Nightline like show that goes on and on on the same topic? It's day 362 since the Burkett memo was proven to be a fraud.

LOL.

Rathergate was likely a Karl Rove dirty trick frame-up.

The story was true, by the way, that Bush's 7 months of 1971 Guard records are missing and there were reports of Bush campaign people visiting the place they kept the records the year before the election. They were likely destroyed. The rumor is he was busted for cocaine at the time. But all we know for sure is that he refused to take a mandatory drug test and was grounded, then basically disappeared for 7 months, showing only once to get a dental exam.

As for Burkett, the CBS people report him being a rightwing religious nut, down on his knees praying when they visited him. So Rove could have been using this guy, as he did other religious nuts to perp a dirty trick.

Also, how did rightwing blogs immediately know the typeface was wrong? They must have been tipped off.

This smacks of the time Rove planted a listening device in his own office, then called in the FBI to investigate his opponent, who he accused of planting it.

Dan Rather's story was true. Bush did use family influence to get out of both the draft and the Guard.

It was just the document which was phony. As I tried to explain to you, this smacks of a Rove dirty trick on Rather. Read my last post which explains why. It is very possible Bush was arrested for cocaine that year and had to disappear for awhile. It's pretty well established he had drug and alcohol problems that year, as millions did. 1971 was the height of the era when young people were getting high, and rich kids could afford the new thing, cocaine.

Also see the film "Bush's Brain" for evidence that Rove has done this kind of thing in the past and it's worked for him.
