Hi koan,
In most I agree. I cannot blame the enlisted men and women to a 10th degree. I blame the people who get it started. The results are the symptom not the cause. We were not in the street at the time of the report so I cannot "just" blame our fighting men and women.

There is just a better way. Maybe most of the Republican voters are too young to remember Viet Nam and the futility and waste of the exercise.

Now of course to make this a fully gold related post. We are now partners with Viet Nam and that is after "we lost". Viet Nam has some great gold exploration companies. Amanta Resources for one. I owned them and lost some money but a person with patience may do well.Very well.

In any regards as a nation, politics or parties or views aside, we need to represent a higher ideal.

That is not being accomplished IMO.

So we must learn that at one time Viet Nam was the enemy, we lost, and now they are a trading partner. They are a great nation. We need to learn to leave well enough alone.
