Mish:
A few minutes later the manager walked by and I asked him where the entry forms for the contest were. He too replied "What contest?" Once again I said "For this box right here". "Oh he replied, that contest is over". For the third time I about burst out laughing.

Steve on the FOOL:

So I mosey home from work, open my mail box and discover an ad from Dick Scott Dodge in Plymouth for a "reprocessed (ie used) car sale" offering prizes. I scratched off the magic dot on the ad to discover I "won" the grand prize, which the footnote specified to be a "3 day 2 night luxury vacation (to an unspecified location), no purchase necessary, must claim prize during event hours". The flyer listed "event hours" as May 23 through May 27. Consulting my day/date watch, I confirmed I had received the flyer on May 31.

Now the Honda dealer in Plymouth comes through with the goods. Thanks to their mailings this year I have scored a free "sports watch" gratefully accepted by my coworker for his son, and $5 cash, gratefully accepted by the grocery store in exchange for a box of trash bags.
