AMD's PE is 20.3 based on 2006 estimates, 16.7 based on 2007 estimates.
INTC's PE is 19.4 based on 2006 estimates, 15.1 based on 2007 estimates.

AMD's revenues are supposed to grow 15% 2007 vs. 2006. Earnings 22%.
INTC's revenues are supposed to grow 9% 2007 vs. 2006. Earnings 29%.

The earnings vs. revenue expectations at Intel are quite a disconnect for a company that is rapidly losing market share in the highest margin portion of the business -- servers.

As far as recent history goes, the Q2 estimates for Intel have dropped from $0.26 to $0.15 in the last 90 days, while AMD's have stayed flat at $0.29.
