Actually, I think it's the dragon fly nymph that does the mosquito killing. Try a couple drops of oil.........

I haven't seen a dragonfly in years, but we have mosquitoes. On a different note, lighting bugs were common around here when I was a kid and hadn't seen those for ages, but saw one just recently.
