I don't get your logic here...this is a killer feature that AMD should have implemented six months ago if it only costs an extra $15...the whole point of the extra socket is flexibility...add a coprocessor or an additional processor the choice is yours...

I was assuming it was FX Only feature, since it was positioned above FX on the roadmap. Apparently, it is available to X2 as well. That changes things a lot (for the better).

It needs AM2, which wasn't available. Personally, I think AMD should have had this available from the beginning, but marketing made a different call.
