"Go to Houston and you'll see all the gas is $3 and up. Nothing for less than $3" Doubt it. BCS is only about 60 miles away from Houston. And prices are lower if I go to HEB, I just quoted a price from one of the majors. Randomly selected because it was the last one I saw. Electricity prices have been stable. The deregulation plan was a bust because almost no one changed their provider. Maybe we are just smarter than you Californians...
