Strangely, it's difficult to convince others, especially if you're a lousy salesman like me. The major reason people don't switch from AOL is mail. They don't want to go though the process of switching all of their friends to the new account. Gmail makes it as simple as possible. But it still is a hassle. I made the switch about four months ago. But this is the first week I am not getting personal mail to hotmail. No one will believe the the difference in screening spam until they try it. MS and Yahoo won't screen this tough because they are in the spam business.
