Rove is the evil genius. Best vote-counter, dirty trickster, spin machine and cheater in US political history. A true mastermind criminal who has usurped and subverted our democracy while he had Bush out BS'ing about wanting democracy in the Middle East. Rove learned from a master though, as did GW, Lee Atwater, the godfather of the soutner stretedgy, how to use racism and wedge issues to destroy the New South and take it backwards. Part of the Southern Strategy is go go back to Jim Crow disenfranchisement of black voters. This was used both in Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004 on a massive scale. I also beileve Rove is a student of Joseph Goebbels. Hitler's propaganda chief made up the concept that no klie is too big so long as it gets repeated enough times. Like how to turn Silver Star war heros McCain, Cleland and Kerry into "traitors and cowards". Political alchemy. All you have to be is 100% dishonest and have a gullible electorate fueled by hateful BS artists like Limbaugh and Hannity.

I don't think it's that simple. I think they had several states lined up where they could "cheat" if the need arose. In 2000, it was Florida, in 2004, it was Ohio. I have no evidence, other than Rove's behavior over 25 years.

That's funny were it true but in reality, the bushies were cheating everywhere. Their efforts just happened to matter more in those states. ;-) And no, Bush ain't a genius.
