"We don't give a rat's ass what Ahmadinejad thinks about European history or what pissant speech the little shit gives."

I understand your position. It assumes that his speech is sabor rattling nonsense that we can just ignore. The issue around his speech, however, involves his declarations to act on his targeted enemies (the USA being one) and his efforts to weaponize toward that end ... Something you choose to skirt around and ignore in your attacks on me, who knows why. I assume it serves your partisan extremist view of the world but that is only a guess. I don't really know or care what it is that makes you so full of hate and vitriolic aggression. It certainly isn't your vast knowledge of the topic here.

A very important point has been lost on most people with regards to Ahamadinejad's anti-Israel rhetoric. He has been very successfully playing the Arab street. He chooses his speech in such a way that not only the content appeals to the Arab street, but that its translation works well into Arabic as well. The Arab regimes are terrified of this; what used to be the mantle of firebreathing Arab politicians has now been claimed by a non-Arab Shia. There is tremendous pressure on them join in.

As a result of this tactic by Ahamdinejad, several Arab regimes in the Persian Gulf have stated that their regimes will not survive a US confrontation with Iran. In other words they are in no uncertain terms telling their buddies in Washington, should US attack a country who is perceived as the staunchest supporter of single most crucial Arab cause, the Pal-Israel issue, the Persian Gulf regimes will either have to join in support of Iran or face riots and possible revolutions. This point is lost on most people inside and outside of Iran.
