I see capitalists as sophisticated robbers. They have a rule of law so that their property is safe, as you wrote and they have a code of conduct, sometimes styled as human rights, so that their lives are safe. Both of these requirements rule out a superrobber, a dictator, who robs everybody in society except his cronies. As a group capitalists make sure their class is taken care of, at the expense of other classes, through a venal government. The oil boom and smart advisors have made me a capitalist; I just don't vote for "my" party which should be right wing, logically.

To create capitalists we need capital. Capital spreading more evenly does that. What separate man from Chimp? Capital.

The way NOT to create capitalists. is to lend money to governments. The World bank did that, (during the Cold War) paying dictators for good behavior. Like, for example, financing the Assuam Dam in Egypt. Or supporting people like Suharto, Stroessner, Hugo Banzer etc.. Perhaps I know things that you don't.

Now Globalization has won. Time to separate man from chimp. There will no artifical man, i.e., chimp dressed up smartly to look like man. It is going to be fun to watch!!!
