Rightwing corruption is in the hundreds of billions. Maybe a trillion.

I am talking about the Bush-Cheney-Delay collusion in the massive energy gouging, health care gouging, corporate welfare handouts, tax breaks for big oil, Halliburton no-bod contracts, etc. etc. We are talking hundreds of billions ripped out of the pockets of taxpayers and consumers and the GOP has received tens of millions in donations from the beneficiaries. Also small print in Bush's tax code benefitting only the mega-millionaire class. He never told you about that, did he?

I fully support all corrupt politicians going to jail. But corruption is not getting a free ticket, dinner or even a jet plane ride (though Delay's $100,000 vacations paid for by lobbyists unrelated to his state's business are way over the line). Anyone can get that in Vegas. Reid is innocent.

Jefferson looks guilty though. Send him to prison, fine. But he's a lone smalltime thief by DC Bushie standards.

Reid's boxing ticket is a tiny item. If that's corruption then everyone in DC has to go to prison. Besides, it's in Reid's home state and the Vegas casinos are the largest employer and industry in his state. It's his business to attend functions there. I have also been comped at casinos and for sporting events. Doesn't mean I owe them anything.

So long as Reid doesn't accept cash bribes he's in the clear. Nevertheless he promised not to go to anymore sporting events for free. It looks bad.

Now back to the trillion dollar ripoff by industrial-big oil Bushies ---
