I agree with that from a macro perspective. The housing bubble took several forms however. Look for the combination of overvaluation, overbuilding with too much speculation and local economies way too tied to housing and perhaps some external trigger (hurricanes) to force a quicker change in the mindset of the masses. Look no further than Florida the next 6-12 months for that blueprint where many MSA's currently have unemployment rates still below 3% yet housing is now in a freefall.

If Mish is right we see it happen down here sooner than other places. Personally I do expect much of what he is predicting in certain areas like FL and AZ.
