I have always been clear on the immorality of this war.

Oh.. that's always been pretty clear..

What was unclear is just what depths of political depravity that you could sink to by exploiting the alleged barbarity of a couple of soldiers as a justification for your belief.

Understand your logic here. You say the war is immoral...

And you feel that belief is furthered by alleged criminal acts by a miniscule percentage of US servicemen that are contrary to UCMJ, as well as prescribed policies.

Yet, I provided you CLEAR EXAMPLES (which you probably didn't read) where US soldiers committed MAJOR atrocities (numbering up to 100 people murdered) in World War II.

Did those massacres INCREASE YOUR BELIEF in the MORALITY of WWII??

You call arguing from the specific to the general "logic"?

We can debate all day whether overthrowing Saddam Hussein's brutal regime was "immoral", despite being authorized by Congress and not prohibited as a means of enforcing UNSC binding resolutions. So you can't say it's illegal.

So you come back to the subjective, personally defined, argument of it being immoral.

Well, I believe the manner in which you are exploiting the Haditha incident as being immoral.

And I believe my justification for saying that carries FAR MORE LOGIC than your pathetic example.

I think its sickening to see a cheerleader for Mao and Ho Chi Minh, not to mention an admittted liar on this thread, talk about immorality.
