LOL, did a quick google of "Castro successor", and most of the stuff was from the early '00's or late 90's. I guess people just gave up on him dying (the cat does have 9 lives, just about every US President has wanted to bump him off).

re: For some reason Cubans think that Cuba will do democratic after Castro steps out. Not sure if that's a given.

The Cubans I've met are not "reality based". If possible, they are more delusional than the Neos... On second thought, that's not possible.
