OT-

<I am pretty sure that this has something to do with the election of Harper.>

You're kidding right?

Who got us into Afghanistan anyway? Does his name start with P as in Paul? the Liberals have been importing terrorist in this country for decades, can't be the conservatives, they have been in power for very short periods only.

Liberals just say come on in , no background checks or anything.

Notice the traditional Canadian names on the list of those arrested.

Anyway I won't comment further, don't want to mess this thread even if you do. Best thing for you is get your head out of your own ass.

"I think that American money was behind the huge push to install a contrived government in Canada."

FWIW, I recently met someone at a social gathering and it was clear he was a right wing zealot within the first few exchanges. We were privately having a drink later, still politely discussing some of these issues and his strong support for Harper, when I stated that I thought Harper had support and advice from US republicans.

This gentleman, a self proclaimed political activist said "of course, I met with him before the election when he had just come from a meeting with them". He said it proudly.

Was it true? Don't know, but sounded so at the time.

Oh yeah, one of his last statements to me that Bush hasn't gone far enough, "he should nuke Mecca". I made one comment to him and our discussion ended.

Hmm, lets see, you say Al Quaeda is attacking Canada because Harper got elected. Well, the Liberals went into Afghanistan, they sent troops to Iraq to work with the Americans even though they deny it (the troops are still there, about a 100 strong). Canadians were killed in Afghanistan prior to Harper coming into power. Numerous Canadians were killed in the WTC attacks on Sept 11th before Harper was PM.

Besides all that maybe we should let the terrorists/extremists bomb our women and children and just turn the other cheek and say how evil we are in the West to have so much and deprave them of so much. Or maybe we should all be devout Islamifacists like they really want us to be.

Take a minute to think about the problem before letting your politics do the talking.
