Had bear problems one year with the bees. I solved that by getting rid of my wife, who took the bees. Or, she got rid of me and took the bees, to be more accurate.

We had chickens in the coop, which we sealed off at night. Had a little door to the yard which we would lock. The "feral" ones lived in the barn and the goat corral. It was all wired up to prevent problems. Lost a few to coons, but not too many. Took a lot of work, tho.
