Hey Taki. I'm certainly glad you're doing better......

As a private person without insurance, I'd recommend that you go back and talk to the Hospital's senior accountant/comptroller in person. They will generally cut you a break and recalculate your bill once they understand your situation (..abioove the illing clerk level..). They generally nail everybody with the "..insured level of costs.." the first time - to try an make up for the people they have to treat who can't pay or won't pay at all. It's all part of the game.

I was given a very expensive premium cigar by a friend that was considerably stronger than the quality brands like Fuente Diamond Crowns, Don Diegos, Montecristos, Punch or Ashtons that I usually enjoy on an occasional basis. I smoked it while sitting quietly at a one-armed bandit late one night at the Casino, having already finished one of mine. Combined with a rather light dinner, not a lot of water, and not walking around for quite a while, I pretty much had the same reaction you did - including some vertigo. I had to go to a nearby hotel and crash for the night. Suffice it to say, I won't smoke one of those again unless it's at an outdoor picnic where there's lots of room to stroll around in the fresh air. Casinos are pretty smokey to start with on a busy night........

Take care. And, check your SI Private Mail.

John :-)
