Bush fights. President Kerry would have issued a warrant for OBL's arrest, which would have left his Afghan training camps intact.

There has to be some basis for your assumption that Kerry would not be as good or even better and "effective" against Osama. The issue is effective. Bush made a big noise and he continues to do so. Even he has admitted to his rhetoric being a wrong approach.

Clinton on the other hand went about very quietly and effectively and tracking down Osama. His missiles were some minutes late in getting Osama. Clinton did not make all that noise that Bush did. And I have no reason to believe that Kerry wouldn't do the same.

I do agree that the Bush rhetoric served one of its purpose and that is convince people like you that Bush is on a mission to fight terror, whether his approach is effective or not is not an issue with you I suppose.

Nadine, not a single major rightwinger leader has ever dared to step foot on a battlefield. McCain is not a rightwinger. He's a non-corporate non-religious right moderate-conservative in the old Goldwater tradition. He's also liberal on issues like global warming, religion and not handing over everything to industrial special interests.

The only reason McCain has credibility left is because he's actively fought Bush-Cheney on about 50% of the issues. That goes for combat veteran Chuck Hagel as well, a big critic of Bush-Cheney.

I repeat, not a single major rightwinger leader has ever dared to step foot on a battlefield. But look how many democratic leaders have. awolbush.com

Nadine, you really should read this. It looks like Bush-Cheney, with their unethical mastermind Mr. Rove, truly did steal the White House. Not once, but twice. And who suffers from this? 95% of the country. Everyone but those who are already very rich or those who work in the oil business.
But what is really damaged is our democracy itself. And supposedly, democracy was what Bush went to war in Iraq for, at least that was one of his 57 reasons. Though I don't think he's ever told us the real reason.

Kerry advocated KILLING OSAMA immediately at Tora Bora and not calling a cease fire to let him get away. Kerry has personally killed heavily-armed enemy combatants in dangerous combat situations. He is not afraid to go into any rough terrain and kill Osama and his people. He is also not afraid of rightwing lies and smears anymore. He is not afraid, period.
