Kerry has publicly regretted that Bush abandoned the law enforcement approach to Islamic terrorism that Clinton used.

Bush has decided to approach Islamic terrorism in a way which is different than that of Clinton. Did he get any result? Did he succeed in getting Osama and Zawahiri after having expended the collosal amount of US taxpayer dollars?

Sudan offered to hand Osama over in 1998
Says who that the offer was authentic? Besides, arrest him for what? You think Bush is not receiving offers to arrest Zarqawi? Why has he not been arrested? What are those offers all about? Just think, don't follow blindly, is what I would say.

What terrorism has Bush succeeded in fighting? All he has been successful in has been to have alienated the US from the other world nations in fighting terror, fighting it like a law and order situation with the cooperation with all the intelligence agencies of the world. It is a supreme act of stupidity to assume that the terrorists are concentrated in Iraq and that we have to pour all our efforts and dollars into fighting the terrorists there. Instead, we have to work with all the nations of the world and seek the cooperation of their intelligence agencies to track down the movements and activities of the terrorists worldwide.

Globalization of the effort and not centralization is the key to winning the war on terror.

Bush has been handed down a big defeat by the world community on Iran. 2 months ago, he was talking about the military option being on the table. But the world community would not have anything to do with the military option. Instead they forced his hand into accepting a economic sanction option and forcing him to negotiate with Iran, a nation he called "an axis of evil"

Clinton was never offered Osama (and turned it down). That's a fabricated rightwing myth in order to coverup the fact it was Bush who was AWOL on terrorism before 9-11.

No truth to it whatsoever. The truth is something like this, and this was confirmed by a Fox News panel of experts who all agreed, that an unsubstantiated offer from a mid-level Yemenese guy was made to a mid-level State Department guy in Africa. The offer never got to Clinton's desk. Not even to Sandy Berger's desk. It was never taken seriously.

Clinton fired 150 Cruise Missiles at Osama, formed Richard Clarke's WH Al Qaida desk which stopped the 1999 LAX bombing and also ordered a Pakistani hit team to go in and kill Osama. All this was disbanded by Bush when he came into power. Bush and Rice did not mention the word terrorism until after 9-11, and ignored the 8-6-01 warning about imminent Al Qaida attacks inside the US using hijackings. That's all facts.
