Well, I admit, I have never heard of an India muslim involved in this terrorist war, but there are plenty in other countries including the Philippines (my friend lost her husband and her brother to Muslim extremists there). Its too widespread IMHO to merely be a middle east thing. jdn

Quite a few. They come out of the Muslim "Deobandi" movement in India and were the basic support for the Taliban. The Deobandis are Muslim fundamentalists. That is step one in making a terrorist. They need to believe the fundamental position. Then they need to become radicalised. The final step is when a radicalized fundamentalist decides to become a Jihadist. Here's a reference: time.com
