When you've done something wrong, it's important to know you've done something wrong, in order to avoid making the same mistakes again. I think we can't talk too many times about the mistakes that led us in to this unnecessary war, that is wasting the lives of our soldiers, costing us a fortune, and weakening us wrt to other potential situations we could face.

The UN did not approve of the Iraqi adventure- if you recall we went despite their vote. As for the US folks, it's obvious most of them would never have supported the war had the information on Saddam and his country been accurate, and accurately presented. That's a problem- and it's one we should solve, since this level of waste is unacceptable to most people.
