Frivolous lawsuits are the responsibility of judges to throw out. That's a local issue mainly. Like those phony bimbo lawsuits against Clinton./ Those were totally frivolous and should have been thrown out of court immediately.

What Bushies are trying to do it take corporate lobbyist $$$ then pass laws protecting those very same corporations from ever being sued by consumers, no matter how faulty or poisonous their product is. The "pro life" party in this case pimps for all the most deadly products:

Weapons
Drugs
Tobacco
Toxic chemicals
Bad doctors
Polluters

Don't be fooled. I was ripped off by a big corp once and it was difficult enough trying to get justice. Cost me every dime I had but I finally got some justice, and by litigation attorney (not trial lawyer, they usually settle out of court) was my life-saver. But he was expensive. Our justice system is almost for the rich only. That's the real dirty secret.

Hours after Tom DElay's father was morally injured, he hired a trial lawyer and sued successfully for damages. Terri Schiavo was also kept alive 15 years only after a malpractice lawsuit settlement. Otherwise she'd have died the first year.

Actually, most major trial suits are negotiated with contingency fees. Especially in class action cases, the class receives next to nothing, and often in worthless coupons. The lawyers however pocket fat fees, sometimes topping a million dollars an hour.

Doesn't that just embody Democrat ideals? Being richly rewarded for not helping anyone and not really doing anything.
