Peter, The last I heard was that SBC had all but two of the Baby Bells, but have no proof of that.They are intent on getting all of them but I don't think they have the resources to battle any resistance that is ably financed.

It seems clear that all of the uses of cell phones are the future, but I wonder if the users realize that any message they send by cell phone can be seen, and heard, by any entity that choses to go to the trouble. The same is with lap tops that are not plugged into a wired ISP. Some crooks are riding around neighborhoods with detectors that tells them where the lap top is, and allows them to access anything that is sent from that computer.

Identity theft could become one of the major crimes in America.
