Global Warming is not something a politician can run on because it's not something tangible. The ordinary swing voter in Missouri may be concerned about glaciers melting and polar bears drowning, but he's more concerned about where his job went, why health care, education and gasoline have doubled in price, and why Bush blew it so badly and lied about the war. I am a minor league insider. But I am friends with some of the major league ones and talk to them about politics whenever I get the chance.
