This is a great point... it seems to me that there are any number of variations possible to the concept of "evolution". I don't understand that there would be any problem with 'some' form of the idea. Clearly some animals 'evolved' into others over time.

It's the process that is interesting and points to 'god' or 'no god' IMHO.

Or in the words of Dr. David Hawkins:

"This arguement about evolution vs creationism is so stupid... obviously evolution IS creationism... unfolding.

Hmm, this site puts Pasteur's spontaneous generation experiment in 1859:
