I love this part:

I have a feeling the Operton 285 would break even with Woodcrest for CFD and FEA -- or come pretty close. Not good news for Intel. Woodcrest is already using 65nm technology, while the 285 is on 90nm. As soon as AMD goes to 65nm later this year, they're likely to leapfrog Intel once again.

It is "not good news" for Intel that Opteron might manage a tie on some benchmark or other?

And someone let the poor chap know that 65nm won't be shipping until December, and intially at 3 speedgrades slower than 90nm when it finally does! Maybe AMD will manage to get 65nm speeds up to 90nm speeds in time for Intel's release of 3.33GHz Woodcrests?
