Nah it works the other way around.

The do nothing-know nothing-have nothings, are clueless about using the political process to achieve a more equitable distribution of capital.

Those with capital, of course, do not suffer from this ignorance.

Consequently the haves have very efficiently tuned the political system to become a slot machine for the already wealthy.

They know that with the right political donations and bribery, they can achieve the dream of capitalists everywhere.

Mo money, mo money, mo money......
