Bush's flipflops are important ones representing huge failures of leadership. Kerry has never flip-flopped on any major issue in his life. deathj penalties for terrorists was the only time he actually changed a policy and he explained it was because of 9-11. Remember when Bush said he was going to jawbone OPEC to bring down oil prices? Remember when Bush said he hardly knew his #1 contributor and ally Kenny Boy Lay of Enron? When he said he was going to catch Osama dead or alive and smoke him out of his cave? Five years later, no Osama. When he said he was going to cut the deficit in half instead of doubling it? 7 trillion in new deficits thanks to GW. When he said he was going to be the compassionate environmental present instead of the cold-hearted, inept pro-pollution president? Worst environmental prez ever. When he said he was going to have a "humble foreign policy"? Lied to the country in order to rush into Iraq without a plan. When he mocked Gore for caring about clean fuels technologies? When he openly defending the nation wasting billions of gallons of gasoline, claiming we didn't need conservation? When he called Iraq a war on "terror"? As it it had anything to do with 9-11. The list goes on and on and on.
