Give me a break!!! If it was democratically elected government you would already have a theocratic Iran in Iraq instead of the "government" mess we've been having since the "elections". Tell that to the 11 million Iraqis who voted in the last election. And if you'd pay more attention and actually tried to educate yourself on what's happening in Iraq, you'd KNOW that Grand Ayatollah commands the respect of the majority of the Shi'a in Iraq.
